OFLC serves as a liaison
between the provincial government and the province's
French-speaking population:
- Facilitates communication between the Government
of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan's Francophone community.
- Facilitates and co-ordinates consensus building
between francophone community organizations and
provincial government departments and agencies.
- Offers a referral service in French to provide
Francophones with information on provincial government
programs and services and the Province of Saskatchewan.
OFLC provides support to provincial government
departments and agencies who are looking to offer
and improve French-language services:
- Translation
services (French and English).
- Terminology searches.
- Revision of documents prepared by provincial government
officials.
- Quality control in the publication of French-language
materials.
- Development of programs and projects offered in
French.
- Implementation guidelines
OFLC guides and monitors the implementation
of the Government of Saskatchewan
French-language Services Policy.
