The Office of French-language Co-ordination (OFLC)

OFLC serves as a liaison between the provincial government and the province's French-speaking population:

  • Facilitates communication between the Government of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan's Francophone community.
  • Facilitates and co-ordinates consensus building between francophone community organizations and provincial government departments and agencies.
  • Offers a referral service in French to provide Francophones with information on provincial government programs and services and the Province of Saskatchewan.

OFLC provides support to provincial government departments and agencies who are looking to offer and improve French-language services:

  • Translation services (French and English).
  • Terminology searches.
  • Revision of documents prepared by provincial government officials.
  • Quality control in the publication of French-language materials.
  • Development of programs and projects offered in French.
  • Implementation guidelines

OFLC guides and monitors the implementation of the Government of Saskatchewan French-language Services Policy.

For more information on any of our services, do not hesitate to contact us.  If you are interested in information in French about the Legislative Assembly, French-language education in the province, or French statutes and regulations, please consult the websites with information in French in our links section.  If you are interested in general information in French about Saskatchewan, visit our Saskatchewan…en français section.
