In March 2009, Deputy Premier and Education Minister Ken Krawetz and Provincial Secretary Wayne Elhard announced the appointment of 10 Saskatchewan representatives to the Saskatchewan-Ukraine Relations Advisory Committee.

The community-based committee, originally created in 1993, will provide advice on government and private sector activities in Saskatchewan and Ukraine, to strengthen the civil society of Ukraine, strengthen business opportunities, cultural ties and maintain and enhance the work around student exchanges.   Read more...
